China is moving closer to passing a revised bill that aims to improve the State Council’s oversight system and make the workings of government more transparent.
China’s top lawmakers reviewed draft changes to the Organic Law of the State Council on Thursday at this year’s annual meeting of the National People’s Congress (NPC), part of the two key annual political gatherings known as the “Two Sessions.”
