China’s Tomb-Sweeping Festival showed a rise in people’s willingness to travel.

During the three-day holiday, the number of domestic trips made by Chinese travelers rose 11.5% from the same holiday period in pre-pandemic 2019 to 119 million, according to Ministry of Culture and Tourism data. They spent nearly 54 billion yuan ($7.6 billion) on their trips, an increase of 12.7% from the 2019 period.
