Another CCTV Executive Detained by Party Graft Busters

(Beijing) – Another senior executive of China Central Television (CCTV) has been detained by the Communist Party's anti-graft fighters, sources close to the situation say.

Huang Haitao, vice director of two CCTV channels and deputy head of the state broadcaster's TV program purchase center, was taken away on August 14, the sources said. The investigators did not say why they took him, but the sources said it was widely believed inside CCTV that the case is tied to his purchase of shows and scheduling decisions.
